Projects

A collection of hands-on IT projects focused on networking, infrastructure, Microsoft 365, automation, and practical problem-solving.

Home Lab

Overview

I built and maintain a home lab environment to develop practical experience with networking, infrastructure, storage, remote access, segmentation, and systems administration.

Technologies

UniFi • VLANs • Managed Switching • Wi-Fi • NAS Storage • Teleport/VPN • Network Segmentation

What I built

I built a segmented home network using UniFi hardware, managed switching, wireless access points, and NAS storage. The environment includes separate networks for trusted devices and IoT equipment, remote access through Teleport/VPN, centralized storage, and a rack-based layout designed for easier maintenance and expansion.

What I learned

This project has helped me build practical experience with network segmentation, managed switching, VLAN design, remote access, NAS integration, and troubleshooting across multiple devices and services. It has also reinforced the importance of documentation, testing changes carefully, and designing infrastructure that is easy to maintain and expand.

Microsoft 365 Lab

Overview

I use this Microsoft 365 lab to practice cloud administration, identity management, endpoint management, SharePoint, permissions, and tenant configuration in a controlled environment.

Technologies

Microsoft 365 • Entra ID • Intune • SharePoint • Exchange Online • SPMT • Identity & Access Management • Endpoint Management

What I Built

I built a Microsoft 365 lab environment to practice tenant administration and SharePoint management. I created a SharePoint test site, configured document libraries and permissions, tested external guest access and sharing, worked with version history and the recycle bin, and used the SharePoint Migration Tool to migrate files from local and NAS-based storage into SharePoint, including incremental migrations.

What I Learned

This lab has helped me build practical experience with Microsoft 365 administration, SharePoint structure and permissions, identity and access concepts, endpoint management, and migration workflows. It has also reinforced the importance of testing changes, validating permissions, and understanding how cloud services interact across a tenant.
